We will also visit some special goddess temples. Goddess Durga is the deity for Rahu.

One of the unique features of the Ashtavinayaka Temples is that the Ganesha idols are all covered with Sindoor, a sacred orange/red paste. And all idols of the Ashtavinayaka Pilgrimage are Syambhu; they are self-originated, and temples were constructed around them.
